SCREW YOU EA! I will NEVER buy another PREMIUM, GOLD, DELUXE, etc edition of anything, SERIOUSLY... NOT even getting the base game of BF V (I'll wait til it's on sale and I've already claimed the DLC "give aways", IF then)
I did NOT pre-order "BF 1 Premium Edition" just to have EA give it away for FREE before BF V was even released >:-( I was already mad about EA giving the expansions to the Access and Basic owners, but now I'm kinda furious seeing the whole damn PREMIUM PASS be "given away" >:-(
I didn't mind EA giving the expansions and passes to PAST games (BF 4, Hardline) to help build / keep the player counts up to keep those games alive, but GIVING AWAY THE CURRENT GAME contents many of us PAID 2 x's MORE for is soooo UN-ethnic :-(

I DO encourage giving the past titles DLC away to bring the player base back up, put the DLC maps back in rotation, and keep the older titles alive (BF 3, BF 4, Hardline).
But NOT BF1, because it is the current game STILL in development, thus giving the DLC has totally screwed the "PREMIUM" buyers >:-( Shame on EA, seriously this is worse than the SW BF 2 loot boxes EVER were...
C'mon people, we ALL know the real issue that has PLAGUED & DESTROYED every SW project since the Disney acquisition: DARTH KATHY (Kathleen Kennedy that is, lols).
She has jumped in to every production like she intended to BURN it all up by accomplishing troubling the film makers doing their jobs, firing directors during productions, firing actors on the spot, forcing rewrites that made no sense, etc etc etc. She is like the Anti-Christ of the Star Wars Universe, lols, err... (sniffle)
I liked TFA, though it took novels, comics, and games to understand what happened between ROTJ & TFA (but there's plenty of articles on the net to tell you simply, lols). But I did HATE how Rian threw away JJ's 8 script and did almost NOTHING to continue with MANY of the sub-plots that JJ had put in TFA at all.
But I am TOTALLY GLAD JJ is coming to tie up the trilogy the best he can. I'm also content with bringing un-used footage of Leia in to 9 (better than reading that she died in her sleep aboard the Falcon in 9's opening scroll, lols). Also awesome recent news is that Disney heads have put a leash of DARTH KATHY, even offering JJ and other high profiles to take over her position last week, though every offered individual refused. Even though she was not replaced, she is leashed, and will likely not be in charge near as much as she has been for 9 (so the creative team can really be creative without her disturbing their Force, lols)\
But c'mon, QUIT blaming Lucas... What Darth Kennedy has done is NOT his fault :-( And yes, I am a fan of the Prequels (A.) to me they added more back lore to the OT references (B) Obi-Wan was AWESOME and I do hope Ewan does an Obi-Wan film (C) We see the corruption of the Jedi council (D) We see the story of a GOOD Jedi gone BAD: Anakin to Vadar (E) more (F) and no, I don't hate Jar Jar, I actually wonder how many people hated Yoda in ESB or the Ewoks in ROTJ in their own times, lmao :-P
*sigh* I REALLY hate the fact that BF1 is "giving" away PREMIUM DLC I paid $50 extra for, because the game is still in development and the current release (I wouldn't mind if BFV was already released and the current game BUT it is not) >:-( Basic owners can thank the PREMIUM buyers for this as much as they do EA, as the PREMIUM buyers have been heavily cheated for the $
But I don't mind EA giving away ALL of the past game DLC for 100% FREE to help keep the games ALIVE (bf 3, bf 4, bf hardline, etc), because there's a lot of base game owners that NEVER bought the DLC and I (and other veteran premium players) got burnt out on the vanilla "out of the box" maps, so that's a snazzy cool move to keep the DLC maps in rotation now & to keep those past games alive
So are people actually playing the DLC maps on BF 4 or Hardline these days? I would LOVE to play the DLC maps again. Thanks in advance
I am loving the game as is B-) It is as easy or hard as you make it, depending on your actions and decisions, as an RPG
Though admittedly it could use some tweaking to be even better; for me personally I would like jump & crouch (as in more stealthy) abilities, and improved combat mechanics. I also admit, if you're too nice to the citizens and don't kill enough, bosses are TOUGH because of your lower XP
But I can see how "Story" mode will appeal to some better, as well as the "hard" mode.
If Focus keeps working on this, we'll have a better game than VTM:BL for sure in time and likely a even better sequel imo
@aross2004: In a way I agree that they should have edited the "Marry Poppins / Superwoman" scene (no disrespect to Carrie, RIP) to give her a tragic but epic departure from the series (it was her Force power that held the ship together as much as she could to save the others that ejected her in to space, according to the novel). They had plenty of time to do so, but Rian (and surely Darth Kathy) didn't want to waste ANY footage they had of her (no matter how good or bad).
But with JJ back and having un-used footage, maybe they can make her sensible in 9, instead of us reading that she "died in her sleep on board the Millennium Falcon" at the beginning scroll of the movie... Rumor has it she was supposed to have a much BIGGER role in 9, even fighting Kylo Ren herself, though I doubt footage without CGI can achieve that now. But I welcome her in to the film in any form
umm, this is the game that was never completed, right? as in, never finished development and never closed the story? And K thinks this little bit will make us re-install the game?! lololols, gonna take more than Quiet's TNA to interest me :-P more like a FINAL chapter (duh)
Konami: ya know everyone will forget MGSV once the next Splinter Cell comes, right? To me, MGSV was just the closet thing we had this gen until the next SC (which we all know is coming, though not officially announced yet)
