@Thanatos2k: The user base will be split due to hardware alone. The exact same game will be on one disc, but one "version" will have a distinct advantage. Farther draw distance, better and more stable frame rate. Two people with the same game playing each other. One will have a clear advantage.
Of course you would think this is okay. It's not a big deal, PC does it all the time. Better PC means a better experience.
I left PC gaming because I was tired of upgrading every two years. The stability of console appealed to me. Now that is gone as well.
Developers are now going to worry about 2 different tiers of the same game. What if Neo runs beautiful and the PS4 has glitches? Games are now going to have delays due to developers trying to get both tiers perfect. This is going to be bad.
This is my opinion. I am going to wait, as by Sony's new business model, they will release yet another new console in three years.
All of this so they can a VR system that will not run well on PS4.
I bought 3 PS2 games that I could play on PS3. Now they want me to buy the same game for PS4. I won't do that. Now my PS3 stopped working and I feel I wasted money.
@Thanatos2k: I am guessing copy/paste is just within your level of intelligence. You can swap any graphic card you want, as that will make it a better machine.
@Thanatos2k: Are you really comparing Hardware and an Operating System? They gave me Windows 10 for free. I don't think Sony will do the same with 4.5. I'm gonna look closer at what Microsoft does now. See who can screw me less
