First impressions i've got are pirates related (what with skulls and sub title black flag). Looks amazing though. A launch title for PS4 and Xbox 720 perhaps? I just hope Microsoft change that stupid name (Xbox 720)!
Luv your article as usual! I have always enjoy reading your articles from your EGM's era with Dan Hsu. It is articulately intellectual stimulating with how you put forward your thoughts and in this case, predictions. Which is simply that: predictions! Based on rumours and ideas circulating the next gen consoles and players trying to break into the gaming industry. Gaming has diversified so much since the Atari golden ages into PC, Consoles and Portables. It has always been a trying period when next-gen consoles are dawning especially when ghost consoles specifications and abilities are purely materializing from ideas that are still up in the air. No concrete strategy by Sony/Microsoft has been finalized. It's funny how companies will keep on trying to break into the prestigious hardcore console market and these console makers are trying to diverge out into the casual mass mobile audience. Wii U with it's unique controller now it just need the app to make it a downloadable individual tablet gaming on it's own. FF VII has always been one of my fondest memories game but with all the X2 and XIII2, I won't be surprised if the idea of VII2 is there. Honestly though it is more enticing with female main character (isn't that the trend with the 2's from the FF series so far). I am not surprised if Microsoft will incorporate the Window 8 technology into it's Xbox Next (is it me or does this name sounds great for it's next gen Xbox). Touch capabilities is so irresistible especially on a big screen TV. It will be good if Sony will try again to compliment it's Smart TV to the PS4. What with extra memory and processing power, it might boost PS4 in certain ways and promote each other commercially. Lastly I will shout out again: Panzer Dragoon Saga Sequel!!! Sega!!! Stop producing games for the kiddies and bring back your bold and innovative development team!!! How I miss you guys when you were a console maker company when you take risks!!! Dreamcast/Saturn Golden Era!!!
