I have noticed a trend that has gotten worse over the years. Games are hyped and then they come out and all the reviews on the major sites give them 9.5's-10's. Which only hypes them up more. The reviews read super positively about the games, and mention no faults (see Metal Gear Solid and GTA4 last year), then after the games been out a while real oppinions start coming out and things kind of cool.

I am hyped about Killzone 2, but I am afraid its the same thing with it. I see a 5 star review coming playing into the hype and my superstition. It may be deserved, but what I yearn for is reviews I can trust. Where a game that gets a 7 is pretty good, and a game that gets an 8 is great. Why does every review for top games have to be almost 10 or the boards erupt in disapproval?

I have never used Xbox live, so I cannot compare, but I like PSN. I would always want more, but I am content. I do not agree with it being worse than Nintendo's, other than the classic games they have everything about their on-line experience sucks.

I do not download movies at $7-$15 bucks to watch a movie on my TV. I get Bluray's much cheaper through Netflix.

when I bought the ps3 I got Resistance FOM and Uncharted .

Both were awesome but Resistance was gaming at its best , Uncharted is beauty Behold... well grapically but definitely not in gameplay

Same for Me. Uncharted has alot of qualities, but the gameplay makes me want to pull my hair out at times. I guess alot of platformer type games like this are that way though.

I am an older gamer (33) with kids and a job, so I get maybe 5-9 hours a week to play if I am lucky. Since most of the games I buy take about 40 hours to get through everything it takes a couple of months if things go well.

So I usually look for a new game to play every couple of months (6). if there is not one, then I don't play, like with the Wii the last 6 mos of last year.

I want to know people's opinion.

The whole black and white thing gets on my nerves in still shots, I am hoping in action it looks better. I think its cool to find different ways to show soemthing, but every pic I see is hard to look at and distinguish everything. Give me some other opinions.
