The exact same thing happened to my 2002 Xbox about 3 weeks ago. I replaced the disc drive and now it works perfectly again. It cost me about 25 bucks to buy and it's super easy to install yourself, just find a guide. The old Xboxs from 2001-2002 used a crappy disc drive that goes out over time. You'll have to buy a new one. I got mine at www.vpgames.com.

I agree, 1 is better than 2. 2 had too many puzzles and I also had to look at a guide several times to beat it. But I still Love both games. Getting GoW3 from Santa!:D

That was my first console. I remember playing that at age 4 or 5. Could I enjoy playing it today? Maybe for 10 minutes, say cool I remember this, and turn it off.

It has PS2 shaders not it's not anywhere close to being as powerful as the PS2.

I didn't say it was as powerful, I said the graphics look almost as good. Compair GoW:Ghost of Sparta to Gow 1 and 2. It looks as good if not better.

If it's working, why get another one? Just keep your system and save your money andif it breaks get another one.

Never tried it, looks very lame. I may give the demo a try though.
