I really hope the CoD franchise die and we can get rid of the CoD zombies ruining the game industry. Just to make it clear I don't mean the in-game zombies...
@Brotelho That is what i loved from DI, you could be surrounded by the infected and they could even climb to roofs, but as i said in other comment: ppl just want mindless shooters
@G4m3r0uTL4wZ Actually it is, this inst another super zombie killer game where you can kill all in sight, this looks like a survival zombie game. Sad thing is that ppl prefer most mindless shooter games. And if you really want some thing new you never will get it lot of games are ripoff from others and.
@BillyColeman @insane1888 @vadagar1 Depends on ppl, i enjoyed that game, as i think Halo, CoD, FIFA, Mario, Pokemon and Lego are shit, but ppl like those.
@vadagar1 If you are smart enough you will realize that is a ripoff from other games like mirror edge, dead island mostly because that electrified knife and techland is involved too. This is more tactical, not a generic kill everything on sight, not scary but looks really good, far better zombie game in my opinion.
And from a gaming point of view, most games are ripoff and almost everyone prefer that, else CoD should have die long ago, as mario and zelda.
Is too soon to say its a FAILED survival fest. I haven't play State of Decay and for that reason to me Dead Island is the most accurate in a open world Zombie game.
@SunicoXD Not only Gamespot, a lot of ppl too, RE6 isn't a Zombie game anymore, Leon´s campaign got most of the Zs. In my opinion isn´t worthy to mention RE6 as a zombie video game.
The flood of zombies in all media made us to loose respect for the zombie concept, i loved dead island as a melee combat and surviving game but now with CoD as a zombie beat-them-up, Plant vs Zombie for kids ( i know is every one) and Warm Bodies a romantic zombie movie we dont feel the fear that the RE games caused at earlier years. PSD: I haven't play ZombiU and State of Decay nor the Last of Us so i cant say anything about those.
The zombie element shouldn't be a beat-them-all, they must be a strong force to inflict fear that we should avoid and survive.
@whynotdairy @Darkstalker77 I played from SR2 to 3, I dont know about SR1 but i felt in love with SR2´s story and humor, i was like "**** yea!!!" when i saw my character killing every gang leader, the brutality telling us that we were the bosses. SR3 lacked that, in my first game play I missed the part where Loren got killed and im not gonna metion more not to spoil the game, gameplay was awesome but failed
