I can probably make a list of 40 games I've been wanting to play. Oh well, here are the five that stand out to me the most, in no particular order: 1. Valkyrie Profile (PS1) Victim of: super-low print run, poor release timing, ebay retailers/sellers With the sequel, erm... prequel, releasing later this year I would like play the original before proceeding. I currently have no intention of buying a PSP for the port, and I would prefer to play this one on my tube. 2. Dragon Quest/Warrior IV (NES, PS1) Victim of: bad release timing, low print run (NES), developer Heartbeat closing down before the programming stage of localization (PS1), launguage barrier Out of all the games of this franchise released in North America, I only missed out on numero IV. The PS1 remake comes along, only to be cancelled for NA release for the above stated reason. I am not importing it. 3. Panzer Dragoon Orta (Xbox) Victim of: my own habit of procrastination, not compatible with Xbox360 (yet?) Just when I plan to get an Xbox, the 360's date and price are announced, so I wait for that instead. I should just run out and get an Xbox right now since the backwards compatability team has yet to get any support for many of the games I wish to play. Especially Orta. 4. Diablo II (PC) Victim of: me still being addicted to the first Diablo, procrastination, consoles and handhelds keep luring me away from my PC. I have nothing more to say, except for calling myself lame. 5. Resident Evil 0 (GC) Victim of: me being a stickler for avoiding games with the Player's Choice label, still need to finish REmake REmake keeps on kicking my rear (unlike other Resident Evils), but I STILL swear to finish it before I pick and play up REZero. One obstacle is me trying to find a non-Player's Choice copy that hasn't been pilaged by those used game stores. And the search goes on...

In no particular order: 1. Super Mario Bros. 3 - Publisher: Nintendo - Platforms: NES, SNES, GBA - Reason: So much joy stuffed in a cart, the reason why I view Nintendo as the Studio Ghibli of the game industry. 2. Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution - Publisher: Sega - Platforms: Coin-op, PS2 - Reason: The epitome of a flawless fighter, AM2 took an already blissful game and tweaked it to feel more personal, more intense too. 3. Dragon Quest/Warrior III - Publisher: Enix - Platforms: NES, SFC, GBC - Reason: I can write a book on this one... 4. Final Fantasy V - Publisher: Square - Platforms: SFC, PS1, GBA (soon) - Reason: Job system, perfect for people who love this kind of approach to character customization. 5. Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II - Publisher: Sega - Platforms: GCN, Xbox - Reason: Addictive drug on a disc.
