@burasta: in all honesty I use Vita 99% for remote play purely because there are not that many original Vita games. But then again, I am aware Vita is not really capable to run uber complicated games on its own. I am happy with the things as they are: remote play was the main feature I was after anyway.
@killmoore: same here, bud. I was very disappointed as love Star Wars etc. First impressions were WOW!! This looks awesome! On my 7.1 home theater setup sound was crisp and indeed very enjoyable. But after not even an hour I couldnt be bothered anymore. I think they made a mistake with BETA to put that map in there. It didnt do any favors to the game and made it look like BF clone. Im dead tired of CODified games, why they all go the same route? Look at Resident Evil, that game is written off in my book. Now Dice seems to be going like sheep the same direction. Star Wars really needed some class, tactics, stealth and HUMOR.
i was on the hype train as loving the Star Wars franchise.. but Im off the hype train now. Needless to say Im very disappointed and found the game shallow and boring. No real story behind.. just piuw piuw kill, die respawn, repeat. But Im still loving Dice's BF4 and wish they better worked on BF5 instead.
@SavageEvil: wow that must have been 100 words :) I do agree with you in some sense.. what i meant, is that having low-res old assets (no cockpit view?!) is unnecessary imo. I understand it blows the figure showing 100+ cars but in reality good high-res newly designed cars are few in between. Nothing wrong with Venturi mate, but please design the car from the scratch and make it look awesome, not just copy and paste from older games. To me quality is more important than volume. In regards to VR i am 100% with you. As a proud owner of DK2 I can tell you one thing - I find it hard now to play racing games on flat 2d screens. PCars in VR is so good, it is hard to explain - it must be tried. I find myself starring around the cockpit or surroundings, more than racing lol. I never had such a connection between me and the race car as in VR. But.. will PS4 will be capable to run GT7 in VR remains to be seen. I hop ethey manage to pull it off!
to be honest, I am not surprised and actually glad they went for a quality stuff and not cheaper components just to please the masses. I own DK2 and can tell that it requires quiet a bit improvements in terms of resolution as a starter. $350 was unrealistic to begin with. Smart phones cost $500+ so expect to pay similar or more.
i bought x1 and ps4 both on launch. Never had xbox in the past. Went for X1 mainly because i was curious about Kinect and what apps/games it will bring. Now it is clear, Kinect is dead and until now there is nothing really to mention. Well, my wife uses X1 for her fitness stuff. Apparently it works well there. DOnt even mention Sports Rivals, that game is completely retarded. Plus, X1 and ps4 is connected to large Tv set and projector with screen 120inches. I can tell that X1 games look rubbish on big screen. PS4 is better but PC is excellent. So, after reading these news I can honestly say i have given up on X1 for good. Shame on MS they dont stick to their plan and change things overnight. Ok they want to sell some more, but what about those millions who bought it already in trust that Kinect will get developed? No respect to gamers at all. All they careis how to shift few more consoles and then move onto X2.
Look forward to E3 as thats the last chance for MS to pull out rabbit from the hat and blow our minds away.. if not, bye bye MS.
