I agree with the entry column, both hardware platforms serve two entirely different markets. The 3DS solely for gaming purposes and the Iphone (and such other devices) the telecoms / entertainment market. It is only by the natural evolution of software / hardware that phones now can claim to exist as gaming devices. I'm still of the opinion that separate devices usually fit the bill much better, that is a combined washing machine and dryer is normally not as good as buying two separate dedicated machines. Note: I have both the 3DS and Iphone
