Lol, running the game at a higher frame rate than the console version would allow! 😂
I can barely get the game above 60 at 1440p running on MEDIUM because for whatever reason I need a RTX 2060 or better to run this game over 60 with decent res settings. And I have a GTX 1070 and I should be able to get over 60. And no I will not play at 1080p
JFC, finally they have added some sort of a patch. I have been problems with this game since day 1. Hopefully it will fix some of the issues I was having and maybe optimize it much better too
This is an amazing start to the series, I loved the first episode. A 7? No character development? Are you serious GameSpot, it’s episode 1, how much character development do you want in 40 mins?
Take Two and Rockstar needs to fix this fucking PC port. I am running an i7 7700k with a GTX 1070 and 24GB of RAM, I should be easily able to handle this game at 1440p over 60fps. Running the game in it’s current state at 1440p on medium settings and barely getting 60. But in order to run unlocked, you need a RTX 2080?!?! Fix your shit Rockstar, and another case of developers saying “**** the PC players am I right”
I will be skipping this altogether. I played Gears 4 campaign twice, once solo and the second time with a friend. I didn’t like the story at all the first time I played it and the second time, it just felt like it would never end. I don’t care to see how the story ends for any of the new characters except for the original Gears making a possible comeback. Plus the multiplayer doesn’t look interesting enough for me pay $60 to play for a little while and never play again. I stopped playing Gears a long time ago, way before The Coalition took over, a time before they decided to add “player friendly” microtransactions. Plus the fact they didn’t hardly show ANY single player footage at E3 or Gamescom was very concerning, as that’s not a real good sign.
@Kesmai: That’s the thing, I am perfectly willing to pay for an expansion if it’s anything like BaW, or HoS! Those expansions are incredible, and the amount of hours you get out of that is well worth the price for them. And I agree, I am sure it will continue, just another reason to support this company even more
