Example: My friend was trying to open a CD case from the wrong side and couldn't get it open, so I said "common sense would tell you to try the other side..." He responded with, "common sense would say..so" (umm that was weak)

I know that is why I said everyone is entilted to there own opinion and a rating dosnt mean the game is good or bad, thats also an opinion, just like what I said in response was an opinion =) overall though I still say it was fail,lol

I like old games. I mean, I haven't really been playing REALLY old games, like 1980's or nothing. But I do play games from 1996 - 1999 and think they thomp many games within the last few years ^_^

And I do agree that grpahics do not make a game. Totally - i'd trade in graphics for decent gameplay any day of the goddamn week

Yeah, FFVII for the first time.....I was out of gaming for a number of years, and that game is so hyped up that I waited awhile to try it out. Im glad I did; I can actually see that its a pretty great game without being snowed over by nostalgia or it being my first FF game in years....

Plus, when I started playing again, Chrono Trigger was my first RPG, and those are big shoes to fill.

Game consoles were built solely for the purpose of gaming back then. The battles between Sega and Nintendo meant games for each platform were phenomenal. Nowadays you don't find that as much. MS is trying to sell the 360 with things like facebook, and twitter, and Sony's selling the PS3 as a multi-media box meaning there's actually a market for people that don't game on those systems.

My point being that to me I'll always find the best gaming to be had on old systems. SNES/N64/Dreamcast to be my absolute all time favorites (N64 is pretty hard to play nowadays though since the joystick is so clunky. Mainly I just play my SNES/Dreamcast)

Yes, I do. I'm slapping myself in the face right now for making the dumb mistake of selling most of my brother's old Nintendo games to Gamestop when I was younger.atm0073
