[QUOTE="Swift_Boss_A"]At the end of the day KZ2 can get all the AAA scores it can from other sites but if GS flops it then its a flop in SW. Sad but thats how it works here. Right now the scores do indicate how wrong the haters were, btw standards change over time so bring up the fact that Halo 3& Gears outscored KZ2 is just grasping for straws really. BioShockOwnz
Console shooter standards haven't changed since Halo 3 and COD4 in 2007. If you read Eurogamers Killzone 2 review, you'll even see them say that the game's really nothing new or revolutionary (not the exact words). That's not a bad thing, mind you, but I'm simply pointing that out to you. If you think console shooter standards have changed since '07-'08, then I'd like to know how. Shooters haven't changed in a long time.
No. The fact that Killzone 2 scored the SAME as Call of Duty 4 months after it came out shows us that.1. Even after COD4 set the standards so high and everybody is used to its innovations and features, they still found reason to say Killzone 2 offers a similar experience by comparison of score. FPS being such a stagnant genre in originality this shows that Killzone 2 met and exceeded expectations.
2. We can all agree COD4 (9.4)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Halo 3(9.5).
3. COD4 is an 8.0 at Eurogamer, KZ2 is a 9.0.
