No reason to go 1156, it's a dead end socket. I'd recommend i3-2100 in that price range, or even Pentium G840/850/860, they perform almost as well as the i3 in games. That way you would have the option to upgrade to Ivy Bridge when you feel the need to. Another option is 960T, it's cheap but it's a quad core and it's overclockable.

7850 looks really interesting, being practically 7770x2 at 40% higher price. What were they thinking with the 7770 pricing???

CM Geminii S524 would be good, in fact it would probably be an overkill but what da heck. It's not tall, so you can be sure it would fit. If you want a tower cooler then I suggest Noctua NH-U9B SE2.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. The cheapest 6870 you can get here in Serbia is Powercolor and it costs ~140€.

I was considering Cubitek Tatoo Beta but it was nowhere to be found when I bought my PC. It has some good reviews, and it looks quite decent, too (if you like simple design).

You could simply replace the cooler with AC Twin Turbo Pro. It's a bit pricey, but it's exellent and you can reuse it with your next gfx card.

As long as you have at least a quad core CPU and it's running at 3 GHz or more you won't see any difference.

You could probably run it at lower voltage, auto oc usually adds more voltage than is necessary.

990X is probably a better choice if you prefer Nvidia, because it gets you the SLI option, and of course there are more extra features than the cheaper 970 boards. If you don't mind the price Asus M5A99X evo is alright, but Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 has better vrm and it's cheaper.

I got a tripple core Athlon @3.3GHz. It's alright for games, but 720p video encodes can take a long time, not to mention 1080p. And yeah the reason I didn't get a quad or a hexa core is the money.
