as far as single player goes condemned 2 was the most fun.

condemned 3, The Darkness 2, and Too Human 2

leaving games on pause for extended periods of time can cause damage to a TV so maybe the guy at the store was saying that to your parents and they misunderstood exactly what he meant. regardless of what he said you should really telly your parents to do some research on their own about things like that. but it sounds to me like they just dont want you taking up their TV :P

well although i really enjoyed the game i really dont feel like another playthrough (especially since ive had fallout 3 sitting on the table since its release) so my offer stands for anyone to help
