XP for now... Windows 7 on full release. Every gaming rig I build only comes with XP.

Run and Gun is ruining the FPS genre. Developers can cheap out and replace weapon authenticity with there own sort of weaponary balance.
i.e. Most of you should be familiar with Call of Duty World at War.
Many players will opt for a weapon such as a German MP 40 for its high rate of fire. This weapon has an effective range of roughly 100 M.
However, you will notice some players will use the weapon to fire down longer ranges to great avail.
I have no problem with this at all, but as far as historical accuracy goes, Treyarch really drops the ball.
We need games that minimize weapon spamming and play more into tactical weapon usage. (If you know PC game titles check out Call of Duty United Offensive)
Pulling the trigger shouldnt be the auto win. Knowing how far your target is and if you can kill him or not needs to happen a bit more.

Coming from a PC gamer who has run a few servers in his time, if I'm playing Call of Duty or Gears of War and I start to hear singing or QQ'ing (crying) I just take matters into my own hands. If there is a mute option, off you go. If there isn't, I'll start an Xbox party.
Don't apologize. You can make the change yourself.
I find it a pain to play my Wii. Not from the gesture based control system, but from something that has recently developed. My Wii now sounds like a Boeing 747 just before take off parked in my living room.
I believe something went in the disk drive as I kept my Wii out of the dust quite well. Everytime the system powers up with the disc in it sounds terrible. I can't stand it for more than 10 minutes at a time.
I emailed Nintendo and all they gave me was a list of troubleshooting tips, which were totally useless as the Wii works perfectly fine (asside from slower loading times from the ailing disk drive).
Anyone else experienced this issue?
