Gossa. It's not just the female demographic that big budget publishers avoid. It's also the hardcore gamers aswell like me. The survival horror genre has basically become action shooters. Alot of games these days are to easy. So your best bet is to look for indie games to fill the gaps, unfortunately they rarely have the budget to for fill there vision or get there name out. Basically casual gaming to the hardcore fan of games is the death of hardcore games. Iso it's not just the female demographic being affected.
Take gta 5 for example. You can save anywhere. The misions are full of checkpoints. Health regenerates. The only redeeming factor in difficulty is that you don't have much health to begin with.
My English teacher would have a fit if she saw your first paragraph. It should be used to outline the main points you bring up in the paragraphs. Also not enough info on the actual gameplay.
