I have also been looking for a great turn based RPG to play but haven't really had much luck with that. I've checked out Baldur's Gate and the Witcher but haven't really gotten into them, although I haven't really spent much time with those games yet.

King's Bounty is what you want. Forget the craptastic Gamespot review, here's a good one.

And twoarticles about it, if you still have doubts.

Also, the English translation isn't bad, that's just the writing sty1e of slavic fairy-tales.

Thanks, this is the first time I am hearing about this game and it definitely looks interesting. I'll be sure to do some research on King's Bounty.

Morrowind GOTY. Even if you played it on Xbox, it's still totally worth it for the mods; same with Oblivion. Cherokee_Jack

I haven't played Morrowind but I have played Oblivion...I suppose mods are a good enough reason to give it a second run. Thanks, anyone else?

Hello everyone. About 2 weeks ago I completed my first build and now i'm attempting to build up my PC game collection and would like some opinions on games that I could potientially enjoy. I have been a console gamer for all my life up until this point so any help would be greatly appreciated. My favorite game of all times is Devil May Cry 3 so any game suggestions involving high speed, difficult gameplay would be great. I also love playing dogfights in the PS3 game warhawk so please suggest any games like that as well. I have also been looking for a great turn based RPG to play but haven't really had much luck with that. I've checked out Baldur's Gate and the Witcher but haven't really gotten into them, although I haven't really spent much time with those games yet.

Currently I have bought :

spore

Devil May cry 3, 4

Left 4 Dead

Sins of a solar empire

GRID

Crysis

Fallout 3

Assassins Creed

Fable the Lost Chapters

Gears of War

Bioshock

Prince of Persia

World of Goo

Call of Duty 4, 5

Far Cry 2

GRAW 1, 2

Civilation 4

Black and White 2

Mirrors Edge

Need for Speed: Undercover, Carbon

My system specs are:Intel core 2 duo E8400 @3.00GHz, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB, ASUS P5QL PRO motherboard. I'm really sorry about the length of this post, I'm just wondering if there are some quality games that I have been missing out on since I've been limited to consoles for most of my life...

[QUOTE="hmgg2686"]thanks for the feedback guys! I'll be sure to looking into the 4850 and 4870 GPU's.Sordidus

Get the 9800GTX+ or the GTX260 Core 216...

From what I understand, I would be able to over clock the 9800GTX to GTX+ speeds so there would be no need for me to spend the extra money. you thoughts?

I'm on break from school for Thanksgiving, So I haven't really been checking my E-mail. Today I found out that I was selected to participate in HOME beta testing. My PS3 is at my apartment back at school. Will I be able to use the redemption code when I return to school?

i've had an ingame freeze on my 60GB once, but it was fine after that. Luckily they included an autosave feature.
