Thank u for the info & clearing up the CPU query, So if i went for lets say the 'MSI NVIDIA GTX660 TF 2GB DDR5 PCI-E Graphics Card' & some 8GB Ram that my motherboard supports, with Windows 7 & a new HDD it should run Infinite?

hi, thats some fantastic info & it is very tempting to completely upgrade it all, will look into it more, thank you.
hi, why would u surgest a new CPU as it's a Quad Core Processor & that is the recommended CPU for Infinite?
Final Fantasy 7 was the best new FF on the PS1 & Final Fantasy 10 was the best new FF on the PS2, so i think it would be unfair to pick as they are from different console generations, for the record tho both games are 10/10. unfortunatley i have hated all FF's on the PS3 so far.
I bought my PC back in 2007 & it was quite high end back then (i used it mainly for music production), but having enjoyed modding Fallout 3 & Skyrim i started to buy a few more PC games than i used to & now mostly use it for gaming, being 6 years old it's about at it's limit for running Skyrim (mid settings) & Witcher 2 (window view, mid settings) but now Bioshock Infinate is about to be released & it will not run on this PC, i think it may be time to give it an upgrade.
Here are it's current specs:
Graphics Card768MB GEFORCE 8800GTX PCI Express + DVI + TV-OUT
Hard Disk250GB SERIAL ATA II HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (7200rpm
Power Supply800W Quiet Quad Rail PSU + 120mm Case

Running on XP, i'm looking to spend no more than £500 on the upgrade & i think a decent Graphics Card should be my main purchase, HDD drive upgrade & Windows 7 next but i'm no expert on PC's & i would like some advice or wether i should just buy it on PS3 or 360?
Thank You.
Hi thanks for the replies, previously i have ran 'Fallout New Vegas', 'The Witcher' & Anno 1404' all on max spec & i had no problems at all with them. i will clean out the dust & try running the game on a small resolution & see if that works.
Hi, basically installed 'The Witcher 2' running on the lowest settings & every 20-30 mins my PC crashes & restarts itself, no error message or anything.
i think it may be the graphics card overheating & causing the problem (as it's very hot) but before i splash the cash on a new card i'd like some opinions on wether this is the problem.
my pc setup is
768MB GEFORCE 8800GTX
Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 (4 X 2.40GHz)
4GB 1066MHZ RAM
800W Quiet Quad Rail PSU
ASUS P5K SE Motherboard
Windows XP Prof.
40inch Samsung TV/Monitor
i know the graphics card is just above the minimum for running the game & just wondered if getting a more powerful card will stop the overheating, nothing else in my PC seems to be hot it's just the graphics card.
Thank You.
