Thank you for posting this useful article. I think you've missed some of Gaelle's usefulness, she can shoot other crew members past an enemy's line of site and to higher ground, and when an ally is fired at an enemy they are KOed for less time and can kill or tie up the enemy while also moving to a more useful location. Still a selective ability but you can make it work for you.

@foodrules There tends not to be live commentary. (I think)

I have no issue with this.

I am a fan of the original and a sequel which is more open-world sounds both like something I might enjoy if it's as well put together as ME1 and something I think many other people would enjoy who probably hadn't heard of the first one because it wasn't very broadly marketed.

Also it got irritating towards the end because some of the levels were very trial & error and you were forced to use weapons just to give yourself space to figure out the puzzles.

I'm optimistic about Thief.

I don't think anything Eidos Montreal could do would worsen the past games, and I think they may just be able to make my favourite game ever.

@Syk0_k03r What I take from that is 'How dare they give us additional gaming content of diverse, interesting styles which expand replayability and give us good value for money!'

@darran05 The subscription is only part of the service, most games can be rented at £1-£2 a day. Before the UK service opened I was playing the 30 minute trial of Splinter Cell Conviction and it worked suprisingly smoothly even over the atlantic. They've created a very good environment for gamers to pick and mix. Also if you buy your 1st game in the next few weeks it will only cost £1.
