You don't know how to shop.

Here is one built for about 493 USD without tax yet.

It could be 70 USD cheaper if you purchase windows 7 at your college or university for 30 USD.

And stop complaining about viruses....if you know anything about computers you don't have to worry about viruses.

Also there are a lot of hackers on consoles too.

And PC games usually have longer surviving communities like unreal tournament 2004.

PC games usually have a longer lifespan due to mods.

Also you can do much more than game on a pc.

You can do work on it.

You can create a movie on it or build a game on it.

You can browse the web.

There are more control choices with a PC.

And you can play games from 20 years ago if you like or emulate systems to play games on.

Here is that cheap computer which is easily much more powerful than an xbox 360 and can run crysis on max settings smoothly.

I know this because my 2007 computer is similar and can play crysis on max.

Dataleak

Aww man you totally showed me up. Oh wait its not more powerful then the PS3... rats you know thats what your supposed to do? A little quote from you, "I could build a 450 dollar PC that is more power than the consoles, much more powerful." If you ask me thats not enough power as the PS3 has, yet it must be "much more powerful"

Dude, the 9800GT alone is more powerful then the PS3.

I don't see the purpose that would have then... oh yeah its for a PC, need that extra power to waste for windows

There are a lot of upsides of PC gaming. Clearly, you don't know of them. I get the feeling that you don't have what it takes to navigate gaming on a PC. That's cool. You can still game on a console - idiot-proof, accessible, with standardized software. That's probably the route for you. But please understand that we are not all you. I have better experiences with PC gaming, and I wouldn't trade it for my PS3. Given a choice of only one platform, I'd trade in my PS3 in a heartbeat. But that's because I know how to actually use my PC for gaming. Not everyone does. That's cool.

MY SPECS: Processor: Intel quad core i5 @ 2.66GHz RAM: 3GB DDR3 Monitor: Middle Monitor 21.5" Full HD plugged into XFX Radeon HD 5770 card More Monitors: 2 on each side monitors 22" run by ATI Radeon 2400 HD Audio: Realtek HD (just like every other computer without a sound card) Hard Drive: 1.5TB seagate @3GB/s Since when do people that don't know much about computers have built a computer like that? I used to be a PC gamer, PS3 replaced it and now its very simple. I still play 360 exclusives on my PC but besides that the PS3 is where my game goes

Have fun browsing the internet on inferior controls and software.

Face it the PC has more to offer.

All you are doing is saying you like the games on the PS3 more while I say I like the games on the PC more.

Of course PC has more to offer, don't act like the PS3 is supposed to do everything a PC does, its made for games not to replace a computer. And i have to go do less important things than discuss this with you, see ya on the flip side

I don't need netflix when I have a wider array of movies and videos to choose from on the internet.

I can finish my work while in bed and I also have a tray that can lean over the bed and be used to prop my stuff on without having it on my lap.

Oh and good luck playing RTS games......or games like Dragon Age which had gimped controls compared to the PC version.

Good luck with your inferior analog stick while I have the smooth precision aiming of my mouse.

I can also plug in a wireless controller too.

Hakkai007

*laughs at stupid caveman trying to plug in wireless controller*

There is a USB port attachment that you plug in that sends the wireless signal......you ignorant caveman.

Ignorant? Oh because for me i just don't even plug it in and my computer detects it wirelessly. Come on Captain PC gamer you should be better at these things.

[QUOTE="delta3074"][QUOTE="heath005"][QUOTE="Hakkai007"]My friend plays his games on a 48 inch HDTV he just sits on his couch with his keyboard and mouse on the table in front of him and he is far enough away.

Sounds cool. I sit in any position i want with my hands holding a controller .

use your 360 controller, windows XP and vista already have the drivers for it, the 360 wireless controller is fully PnP compliant, provided your PC has wireless

I use a 360 controller emulator and use a PS3 controller and have Bluetooth adapter, don't act like you know more about computers then me.

I can also sit in bed and play in a comfortable position with the keyboard on my lap and the mouse on the bed next to me.

I do it with my laptop all the time.

And then I can quickly switch out of gaming and browse the web and then watch a movie or something all from the leisure of my bed.

Hakkai007

Nice nice. I just use a wireless PS3 controller and play some games, maybe watch some free movies on the Netflix software on the PS3, you know. Something that doesn't feel like a wood plank on your legs just to play a game

[QUOTE="heath005"]yes, how fun would it be to just have a mouse and a keyboard sitting in from of 48" of HD? FYI when i got a HD monitor for my computer i got the one that wasn't 32 inches. I could have, but its a PC, everything has to be right or it sucks italygamer
