ok, point granted that we are not talking about gameplay tweaks. but i did address your points specifically in my post, regarding both the framerate issues, and online. framerate issues/slowdown ive only encountered on the replays, not during ingame play. and i think i can safely assume its the same for you based on your first post,

"Replays are terrible. The slow down is unbelievable and it takes any pride away from the goal you have just scored to see it destroyed in this way."

from my personal experience so far, the slowdown only happens every once in a while, but ive found out that if i save the highlights and then reload them to watchthere arent any framerate issues at all anymore. i hope this helps when you want to watch that well earned goal you scored against your mate.

btw, you didnt have to take it to a personal level by calling me stupid. everyone knows that this forum has been flooded with the same posts "frameratezzz!"but in hindsight i can see how you would get angry at my first post i probably should have been more delicate withmy response.

guys seriously...relax and play a while before you judge it. ive been playing every pes since pes2, and everytime theres a new version out its the same thing "teh controlss suxxors!" "its soooo hard", in a few weeks when youre used it it you wont even kno the differences exist anymore.

after every version you always attempt to play exactly the same way as the version before. learn to play the game before you guys make judgements.

after two games a friend and i were putting up 4-3, 3-1 scores quite often. however i do agree there is slowdown when you do replays, but think about this, have you ever heard about patches before?! soon enough we will definately be able to upload those patches to our ps3s fixing any issues. matter of fact, heres a link right here with a patch on the way http://www.pro-g.co.uk/ps3/pes7/news-6754.html. online play? patch is gonna fix that. honestly quit your whining like a baby and give yourself the chance to enjoy a great game. owned. so sick of these threads already.

Letting everybody know, I live in Istanbul and bought my copy of PES 2008 two days ago, on Wednesday,October 26, to be exact. Because there is a huge fanbase in Turkey, I believe Konami shipped the game over here just a bit early. Yes, it is true that there are terrible frame rate issues during Network play (Konami already acknowledged the fact and is working on an immanent patch). But, during normal/offline play,there are rarely any slow downs and the game runs great at 60 FPS. But,it only supports 720p resolution and not 1080p, whichIMO is not a big deal.

By the way, official release date for PES 2008 is October 26 in Europe, November 1 in Asia and Australia (I think) and Spring 2008 in North America.

i dont think it was only shipped to turkey a bit early. all the retailers usually have the game before the release date, they just dont start selling them until the official date. i think all over europe quite a few people received the game a little early...along with you and i ;)
