Hi, after the PSN outage I still can't login to the playstation.com forums, whenever I try to login, I got a message that says: Playstation Store is not available in the selected country or region.

I live in a country with no store but that was not a problem until after the outage, I can login to PSN and play online games but I can't login to the forums to update my profile for example, I use the US forums but I get the same error if i try to login to the EU forums or even the Playstation Blog.

Anyone can help?

I have this problem also since the outage, I can sign into PSN well but the websites I can't.

Try this:

1. On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
2. Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List
3. Choose "PlayStation Network Promotions" from the list of services displayed
4. Select either "PS3 Free Games" or "PSP Free Games" and then choose "Select Content"

I live in Romania, and I had the same problem. They sent me a link. In that link there's the word "security". Replace that word with the word "reset".https://store.playstation.com/accounts/security/resetPassword.action?token=.It will work!

Yes, this topic is about people that have no PSN store in their countrie.This thing that happens only to us. Please try to understand that.Its a REGION error and I don't think Sony will do anything about it.

Anyway, we are a minority so why should Sony care right ?

seems that there are certain countries sony doesnt care for , they are not giving us psn store for 5 years now , and on top of that theyjust screwed our accounts completely :D lets hope they give us at least the chance to change our password on the console itself :(

I've been on this account for more than 3 years now....I'll be very very angry if they don't give it back.......

I got the email and when I clicked the link it redirected me to a page where I can set a new password, but when I clicked Save I've been sent to a page that says

PlayStation®Store is not available in the selected country or region.

I tried to log in using the new password but a I got a wrong password message.

So If i live in a country that has no PS Store I can't reset my Password?

By the way I tried to click the link from the email again and now it redirects me directly to the PS Store in not available page...

What now??????

It also takes two to tango. For instance, the receiving MTA will only accept a certain amount of emails from a remote system over a certain period of time. This keeps the remote server from being bombarded by a spamming system (I.E. 1 million emails over 5 minutes). I bet alot of the emails have been remote queued due to throttling to prevent spamming. Be patient on the email people. People believe email is instant, but it is far from it.
