I suffer from severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder, moderate Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and of course, depression. My psychiatrist and my therapist believe I've been suffering since about 12 years old. I'm 39, now, and I've been getting treatment for about 5 years now. It was my new wife that had previously worked as a nurse in a psych ward that spotted my symptoms. Most people that suffer a mental illness are very good at hiding it and they don't even realize it; friends and family will simply write you off as some sort of odd ball and/or an asshole. If you suspect you feel or think differently than most people, there's a chance you may be suffering. Talk to your doctor about it. If he/she thinks there may be an issue, DO NOT let him prescribe you meds; go see a PSYCHIATRIST. The brain is their specialty. Let them give you the proper treatment you need.
Well, here's one has-been AC fan that got burned out at the conclusion of Brotherhood. I skipped Revelations (watched the cut scenes on YouTube), played half-way through 3; and I don't see myself finishing 3 anytime soon. I suspect I'm not alone. Not by a long shot. Keep on releasing them annually Ubi'. Doing that ruined Call of Duty, ya know.
@poromenos A gun is a tool; much like a knife, a bomb, a baseball bat. The tool is not the problem. The person wielding the tool to do bad things is the problem. Am I to blame my pencil for a misspelled word? Am I to blame my neighbors spoon for making them fat?
This "study" proves NOTHING. This is only OPINIONS from people who are swayed by "statistics" that come from cable/broadcast news outlets. WTF does this have to do with ANYTHING?
If you're going to do a "study", at least educate the participant with some empirical data BEFORE you start the Q&A portion. If there is no empirical data, like the almost non-existant data on video game violence, then don't do a survey.
All that this "study" will ever hope to accomplish is sway the sheeple into THINKING there is a direct link in this problem.
This "study" is only asking for OPINIONS. "Studies" like this prove nothing. They only show concern. These opinions are usually swayed by what the sheeple hear from cable/broadcast news shows that spout "statistics" out there liberal leaning asses.
If you're going to do a survey, go into it by providing some empirical facts before you start the Q & A portion.
