Everything that Haze got dinged for in its review score is something that Halo 3 should also have been dinged for, an yet Halo3 got a 9.5?!?!?!?!

The Bad

Abysmal storytelling and voice acting squander the interesting premise (Halo has always had a sucky story with lame voice acting)

Stupid artificial "intelligence" (Halo AI was laughable thru the whole series. Dumb marines, covnant, flood, whatever)

Multiplayer is uninspiring and unbalanced. (Halo 3's multiplayer was rehash and unbalanced. Every match was a race for the sniper/sword. LAME)

teh CONCLUSION:

Either bring Haze's score up to Halo's level, or go back and drop Halo from it's "AAA:roll: " status

GTA got a sympathy 10. It didn't get a real 10. The reviewers felt all nostalgic and wanted it to be the fairy tale ending of Rockstar. If the EA bs wasn't happening, GTA wouldn't have gotten a 10. That's just my prediction for it, no game will be getting a 10 for a while.

Using that logic then, wouldn't MGS4 get the "sympathy 10" because it will be the last chapter in the MGS saga? Whatever, either way MGS4 will EARN its 10. Kojima & MGS4 FTW!
