I see this on a very frequent basis, both at work and in my college. First thing they would say is i was in the army for years and years, i served in blah blah i killed however many people. I never understood what was so great about joining the army that you have to show off and talk smack about how you served 5-10 years.. I mean back in high school I had friends who joined the army because they dropped out as early as Sophomore year. These so called friends got suspended, never did homework, cut school, got 40s on tests, and just overall did a crummy job. They joined the army and now they think they're king of the world according to what they say. Yeah..serving your country is good but what good does it really do for citizens? Ok so say we help south korea fight north korea.....ok so we take over Iraq....what good does it really do other then putting the nation more in debt? I thought being proud and showing off a little is when you goto a prestigious college, GRADUATE, and doing a professional job. I didn't know you're suppose to be proud and a cocky show off when you drop out of high school, kill people over seas, party drink, and then come back to the states acting like you're god. I never had and never will respect military personel especially the ones who are cocky immature show offs. What is your opinion about this?
