additionaly customization doesnt transfer and in-game achievements are only for the profile that has earn them. With exception for sharing what is on the HDD, each profile is a separate entity!
1st off the in-game XMB should be coming just before Home from what i understand, so it should be soon

3rd, even with Home you will still need a way to communicate with ppl on the friends list while in-game. 2nd i can look things up during game downtime w/o leaving the game, and so on. in-game XMB is a must!
MGS will sell better due to what it is, one of the greatest franchises even made in gaming. however R2 is promising some things never seen before in gaming and i gotta say that it looks like it could make anything else in the genre out there look like kindergarden toys.
However dont forget that in the game is still Killzone 2, SOCOM: Confontation and SOCOM 4, another Time Splitters, Borderlands and many other exclusives that could do just as much "damage"!
i just wanted to give you an idea. If you are strapped for cash go with 40gb. however if u wanna pack up a good deal i would go with one of the bundles. research different stores, specially online and find a best deal on a bundle. Also there is an amazing bundle coming sometimes before the end of June unless u are in a hurry for a PS3 now.
Also dont worry about HD size u can always buy an external or internal HD unit and expand ur memory on ur own!
not a chance for the live launch. maybe a small chance of open beta which has been in talks for a while but the official sign-up site hasnt had any changes. however there is too much buzz across the board for all of it to not be true. So, i wouldnt hold my breath but sure as hell keep up with beta site and be ready to sign up ASAP!
i am guessing Home stuff, maybe even beta announcement. it is almost done so i am guessing VERY soon we gonna get to get it y'all! Also in-game XMB stuff and probably some goodies from the exclusives.

hell yeah! that sounds amazing, if it really is that open ended/sandbox designed it could easily be the sickest thing u've ever played. i mean just think about waging a complete non-linear guerilla war in a game...unreal. Also i am digging the 3rd person thing. In those cases it is much easier to stage such grand things these guys are planing than it is in fps games!
now if it would just be PS3 exclusive and come out as freaking soon as they can do it...oh man, christmas in w/e month it comes out!!! lol
