Like, today I went to a new gas station, and I noticed that they had pornographic magazines behind the counter. I thought that was sort of odd, because it's actually hard to find pornography around here. There's obviously no local laws against it being sold, but for some weird reason, hardly anyone around here sells it.
Anyway, since I don't look at that stuff on the internet (I don't want to get viruses and stuff), I halfway considered buying one of the magazines. But there were two pretty young girls working behind the counter, and that just seemed sort of awkward.
Anyway, I know that some of those magazines are considered smut, but what about Playboy? Is Playboy considered a respectable magazine? Like, if a stranger sees me buying a Playboy magazine, will they think I'm a pervert? Or is that okay? Because Playboy has the porn, but they also have interviews and stories and stuff by well-respected authors and public figures.

That's tough. It's like if someone wants to go to Hooters because they genuinly enjoy the wings. People are still going to have their assumptions.
