@themetal1996: This cast is barely male. All emo and moody. How does that appeal to a male gamer? I reiterate there is nothing wrong with making games for girls they should have good games. But don't pretend it's for everyone when it's clearly not. (and i am not saying it needs loads of totty either for men to play)

How dare you presume to give hardcore gamers advice on their games when you ain't even a hardcore gamer yourself. This is exactly why i can rarely tolerate your videos. Gamespot please sack this person and get an actual knowledgeable gamer to do these vids
@utterlyotter I actually don't know where you got any of that from what I said. She probably has played games, and women do play games and yes loads are better than me at most games i'll ever play. But in general women only play a one or two games and move on. So they'll become attached to a certain MMO whilst they're at home pregnant or bringing up children, or disabled and can't work. They'll play that game a lot and get extremely good at it. But then they don't just move onto a new game they go back to their lives. Out of the few competitive games i've played and watched world championships (evo, the international ect) there has never been a female in finals or even inside top 8.
I am not going to sit and argue nature vs nurture but women arnt 'gamers' they play games yes (as i said better than me) but aint 'gamers'
Playing Mario Kart or Barbies dream castle does not make you a gamer little girl. Just because you've played games don't come over here thinking you can tell real gamers what's up.
I am sick of companies like gamespot just hiring women for the reason that they're women. Ubisoft must have thought they hit gold getting a women that is black. Can pretend they're all 'equal ops' This is why Machinma will always be better because they just get real gamers with real passions
@_planet @gohan661 My issue is simply, only people who know what they are talking about should report on said topic. I wouldn't have the audacity to report on, say golf as I don't know about it. Even if given a script it's abundantly clear when you don't know the topic.
Like this girl knows this stuff. I'm all for equality but if you're going to employ someone to talk about games at least get a gamer and not this overly blatent-but-not-too-attractive eye candy
