Wow what controversy! The PS3 rules! The XBOX 360 rules, The Wii rules. No matter really. They are all selling. Just pick the one you like our buy them all. I'm not brand loyal, but I'm a fanboy of great games and high end graphics. So I started my next gen HD gaming last year with the XBOX 360, despite what the arrogant Yoshi Sony guy said last year at E3. That's just rude. Anyway I love the 360. It’s has assume games and assume online play. I like the controller and the out of the box experience is just better then the PS3 is right now. If you only had money to buy one console the XBOX 360 should be it. For the simple reason that there is more games out and your set up to play and talk online right out the box with the free 1 month online gold package. And if you like playing online then get the year subscription. I don’t mind paying. You get what you pay for. The XBOX 360 will let you download demo, arcade games, customize your menu’s and display. It’s just a prettier and more engaging console out of the box with all the customizing you can do. Heck you can even set up multiple downloads of demos and arcade games at once and then pop in a video game and play while that’s all downloading in the background. The PS3 just does not offer that right now. Hopefully they will soon. Now I actually just bought a PS3 just because I’m an avid gamer and love playing HD games. Sorry Wii you want get my vote I’ve moved on to HD graphics and can’t look back. And yes Wii has some cool game to play, but so does PS3 and XBOX 360, plus they look better. For me I’d buy a Wii for my kid if she was old enough, but not for us grown folks. Anyway the PS3 is very nice and the console is so pretty. It has only one game out I like which is Resistance Fall of Man. I do miss the rumble feature though, but I enjoy the motion feature so I can live with it. It’s not as engaging when getting shot like the XBOX 360 is, but what ever, what is done is done. The PS3 provides a different experience, but not a better one then the XBOX 360 right now. I will be getting Motor Storm and FI racing. I think Motor Storm is assume and that game with Resistance is why I bought the console. The graphics on those 2 games is assume and the playing them is just great fun! I do think the PS3 will get better in time and hopefully they will fix the download thing where I can play games while having downloads going on at the same time. And I want to be able to change my background to like I can on my PSP. What’s up with that simple feature not being there. The online store is looking pretty good and they have lots of cool demo’s to download. As for there arcade games to download they are more innovative then the xbox 360 ones. And it’s cool to be able to download old PS1 classics to the PSP from there to. Anyway like I said I’m a gamer and bought the PS3 for certain games I want to play. Like Resistance, Motor Storm, Gran Turismo (only because it will have bikes in it because I think Forza is a better car racing game unless GT can step it up with collision damage and being able to mods the looks of my car with body kits to bring it up to speed) F1 racing and to be able to use my PSP wirelessly with my PS3 since I don’t have wireless internet at the house. The Sony PS3 has some cool features it’s just not as refined and the XBOX 360 is as of now. A year from now will surely be a different story, but XBOX 360 seems to be releasing more games I like better then the PS3 does. So if you could only own one console then I’d vote the XBOX 360. If money is not a problem I’d buy both like I did.
