dragonseer439 @getoconnection - I checked out that article with the link you posted, and it's good, but it doesn't really address the real "bubble" issue, which is an economic one. Whenever a share price goes up remarkably like this, it's because investors are expecting a great deal out of the company, and if they don't deliver on these expectations, than they can be in real trouble. If you follow business than you would know this happens a lot, and it can destroy companies. Even though Nintendo is in the lead at the moment, this shows that they are facing even more pressure than Microsoft and Sony right now, and they are probably feeling it behind the scenes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The only flaw in your argument is Nintendo has been doing this for over 20 years. Making good games is second nature for them. I don't think they will have a problem "meeting expectations." 3rd parties on the other hand.....

Eldanesh1 Stealth 5000 To reiterate my previous point, what's the difference? None of those game you described are particularly hard to play and being better simply comes with playing more. Is "hardcore" simply a synonym with "no life", because from what I'm seeing it certainly sounds like it. Not to mention,and quite ironically, the fact that if a game is hardcore simply because there is the potential to grind or play a lot, doesn't that make games like zelda and ssb hardcore as well? In fact, any game with replayability falls under the "hardcore" you ahve described. Let's face the new music people. Nintendo has proven time and again that it's sole purpose of being is to bring games to a broad audience of gamer. YOU ARE NOT HARDCORE IF YOU ONLY PLAY GAMES ON A PLAYSTATION. I bought a PS 1 for Castlevania. A PS2 for Shadow of Colossus and an Xbox for Halo. Does that make me hardcore? Not according to some because I finished Pikman 1 and 2. PIKMAN IS NOT A CASUAL GAME. For those calling Wii owners non-hardcore, IMO you're not hardcore if you didn't buy one. If you feel that Wii owners are poor because they only bought a Wii, IMO you you're poor because you don't own one as a second system. If you didn't own a Gamecube just to play Metroid, THE HIGHEST RATED GAME EVER you probably aren't as hardcore as you think you are.
