This same team did a great job on Deus Ex Human Revolution. Deus Ex and Thief series to me are sacred, so I don't say this lightly. There isn't any way they can defile this series more than Deadly Shadows did. That game suffered from some serious consolitis. It still wasn't a horrible game though, and had some cool levels, etc. Like Shalebridge Cradle. The original Dark Project is the best game in this series. I don't expect this new game to surpass that, but I do think they can make it a worthy entry. I'm just grateful we're getting another Thief game at all.

@Scorchstar Dishonored was inspired heavily by Thief, go to YouTube and watch the video of the QuakeCon Looking Glass panel, hosted by ThiefOfficial. If you liked Dishonored, you will like this. It's made by the guys who did Deus Ex Human Revolution, which I thought was great and a really faithful sequel/prequel whatever to the original Deus Ex. I trust them with Thief, my favorite series. You *will* play this.

@JBStone1981 @geosurface "Racial bonus" is a reference to numerous games like WoW where each race has some sort of starter advantage in a certain area. And you call yourself a gamer? :)
