Works perfect you say? I am a little confused in what you are seeing as "perfect". Running the game in 800*600 with everything on low settings isn`t my definition on perfect. I would call it more like acceptable. Perfect would be everyting on very high with aa and af turned up all the way!!! You know, PERFECT!!!! Would like to se that tough
The Xbox360 dudes out there should really oppgrade to xbox 720 or 1080 versions befor hoping to see crysis on their console. You might see it on xbox360 with the settings on ultra low, but dont really think that as an option. Pc is the only way to go for the ultimate gaming experience!! Consoles can also be a lot of fun!!
The previous generation cards all show a great performance increas to the next gen cards. And the performqance leap just gets bigger and greater with each new line of cards that is released. For us gamers this is great, more juice for games to come! ps. And I think the new cards wil be better optimized for utilizing the new eyecandy stuff, like Paralax something, something. Bigger is better!!!!
I agree with zracxes on this point but if u need a card until the bfg cards is realeased, then u wil get alot of bang pr. buck with the 8800gt. The only thing with that card is the potensial heat problem in a case with low air flow. When a game looks better than realety, then the science have to improve realety!
Just to comment on Alexandru04, 6800gt don`t really deliver the goods in the new games department if you ask me!!! Go with 8800gt!!! If I`m a grafix hore, is nvidia the pimp???
I`m no expert, but shure you can play this game. But be ready for some agrevation due to the fact that there isn`t any hardware to max out this game, yet. And your settings probably wil not be more than medium. So until we some really super fast cards on the market for desktop users. We just have to live with the fact that it is more eyecandy to be had with crysis!!! We are all in a bit of a "crysis" with this game!!!! PS. The card you want for this is the 8800gt, best price/performance balance output! Cheers!!!
Got an core2 duo 6600@3,6 - 8800gts 320 o.c. to 640gpu, 1050ram - 4gig of low latency ram and Vista32. Where running on high 1024 no aa af until i got to the frosen level. Holy crap that ice shure eats up my system. It ran "fine"(30+fps) untill that point. "Captain we don`t seem to have the power" NEED MORE UMP!!!!!!!
