Histories
Vivecraft began in 2013 as Minecrift by mabrowning and StellaArtois as a mod for seated-VR that was developed for the Oculus Rift development kits. In the beginning of 2016, it was ported to OpenVR by Automat-GH. They also included the original implementations of roomscale play and teleporting under the name Minecrift-Vive. Techjar and jrbudda began to update the mod in mid-2016. They have since added numerous new features as well as improved compatibility with the larger Minecraft community. To distinguish the current version, Vivecraft is now being used.
