Gotta be Mario Kart Wii and ModNation racers for me. I've never felt a more greater feeling of "just one more..." than I have with those games.

Gah...Myst. I tried so hard to like that game. Just couldn't do it. But I am very much looking forward to No Mans Sky :)

First controllor was the Atari 2600 joystick. Or was the pong controller first? I guess it must have been, yes? Anyway, we had pong and the 2600. My favorite I think has to be the Wii controller with the nunchuck. For some reason I really liked it for driving and for regular gameplay, like in Metroid Corruption.

So maybe we can have a separate list for games that aren't NES? Of course I'm just being bitchy anyway as I wouldn't even try and beat most of those games. Hardest thing I've ever done I guess was 9999 on MarioKart Wii.

I guess my most favorite are shooters, but I've really enjoyed playing the Uncharted and Infamous games lately. Least favorite has to be MMO's and RPG's. Just...I just don't get them.

Man, I gotta say I love playing Lego games. I agree with all the problems people have brought up. They definitely exist...but so what man. They're hella fun, especially the co-op, and especially as a way for me and my son to play together for nothing but pure fun. We played together first when the first Indiana Jones game came out...like 5 years ago? Some of the best times ever. So I really couldn't give a rip if the hit detection isn't the best. Fun is fun, and that's all it should be about.

I just want to add that this thread is quite fascinating. Remember when he was talking about how much he liked retro games over current gen games. That was fun.

OP, are you a fan of The Angry Video Game Nerd? If not, you should check him out. Great show.

I would agree that the Destiny intro is pretty badass. All the cinematics are actually. I remember getting minor chills for the intro to Disney Infinity too. But I'm a Disney geek, so that might have had something to do with it. And Infamous, really like the intro to Infamous.

So far I'm gonna go with Uncharted 4 and the Division. Can I also do some wishful thinking for a new Mario Galaxy and a new Metroid?
