i would think that from this point on Sony would start posting games on PSN when they release. i'd really like to have Disgaea 2 sans-UMD. i'm still waiting to see their solution to getting all of my 30-something UMDs "digitalized" before i make my final decision on buying a Go.

just an update: i was in Vegas for a wedding last weekend and ran across a Sony Style store in one of the malls. they had a few 2000 models for demo and one 3000. after playing Ratchet & Clank on the 3000 for a few minutes, the scan lines were quite obvious. if Ratchet was standing still or moving slowly then it wasn't apparent, but the minute i started running and shooting it got pretty bad. not only that, but the glare reduction on the new screen wasn't even noticeable under the lights in the store. final verdict: PSP 2000 FTW!

i rented it from Gamefly and returned it the next day. the camera and controls were just broken IMO. i might be able to see overlooking it's flaws if i had some friends to play Ad-Hoc co-op with, but that's not the case for me. for solo play, there's much better games out there.

yeah, i guess i hadn't really thought about buying a 3000 and returning it if i couldn't bear the scan lines. i'd REALLY like to see if i can get rid of that pesky glare issue.

on another note, having never played a 2000 model, i held one at the Plan N' Trade and damn, that thing's a LOT lighter than i expected.

it'd be cool to see some original RE stuff on the PSP. just please loose the tank controls. what about an RE title with a similar POV/camera as Killzone? i thought Guerilla did a great job of making a great game in the Killzone usiverse that played well to the PSP's strengths and minimizing it's weaknesses (no pheasable camera control option). actually, the guys who made the PSP Syphon Filter games could probably do a really good job with something like this. after they finish Resistance: Retribution, of course.

unfortunately my PSP 1000 was stolen out of my car this past weekend and i've been doing some research on whether to replace it with a 2000 model (the awesome white Star Wars version which i found new at a local Play N' Trade) or the new 3000 model. one of the biggest complaints i had about my 1000 was the glare on the screen, which is still an issue with the 2000. hell, i can barely play Silent Hill Origins in an adequately lit room. but, of course, while the glare was apparently fixed, there are a lot of people online going on about scan lines and interlacing (whatever that is) in the 3000 model. i also know things like that tend to get blown waaay out of proportion online. i've been searching store kiosks for 3000 models to test for myself but haven't found any yet, so i'm wondering if any of you have actually, physically seen both versions in action and what your reccomendation would be. thanks in advance.

i'm looking for a decent quality headset (headphones & mic) that works for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. i tried using a USB headset only to find that, while both systems have USB ports on the front, neither are capable of outputting audio through them. suck. anyway, i was using a Turtle Beach Ear Force (i forget the exact model #) set and i was able to get good audio output for both but the mic only worked for the 360. any ideas?

thanks in advance,
