You'll love GOW2, it's definitely one of my favorite PS2 games. That sux your PS2 wouldn't play it. I had a friend who's PS2 did the same thing. You should go trade that PS2 in to gamestop for GOW2. That's what I'm gonna do with my PS2. Trade it in for a PS3 game!

I say to hell with both of them and search harder and find a 60gb. I found one today at a pawn shop for $299. That's a full BC PS3 for $299! Yes, I bought it. Yes, it's used and scratched up, but for the price it's worth it in my opinion. Some stores still have new 60gb's if you look hard enough. (For $499 though)

Congrats on the 60GB! I just got one today as well. I found one used at a local pawn shop for $299! I thought I would never find one just like you. It's a little scratched up, but for backwards compatability it's worth it to me.

I agree that they should have remade SOTN in 3D along with Rondo. Basically I just bought this game for SOTN, and I loved every minute of it, outdated or not. I'd never played it before this, and I loved those GBA Castlevania games. I'm getting my daughter a pink DS for christmas, and I think I'll be picking up some games for myself for it as well. Then I'll get to try the new DS Castlevania's. (yeah, I had a secret agenda for getting my daughter a DS; my wife wouldn't let me get one for myself)

No, I meant the launch price of $599 was a "years" prospect. And about the $399 PS3, I just couldn't bring myself to buy it with the lack of BC. That is an important feature to me.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I have wanted a PS3 since launch, but I thought I wouldn't be able to afford one for years. Man, did I get lucky!

If you want ALL of your PS2 games to work, you'll need the 60gb or 20gb, both of which are hard to find. Try pawn shops or the internet. I just got a 60 gb for $299 at my local pawn shop, and it plays all of my ps2 games perfectly.

I just went to the local pawn shop and asked about PS3's and he said he had a 60GB for $299. I wasn't planning on buying a PS3 today, but when I heard that, I whipped out the credit card quick! He said he had to lower the price because Wal-Mart had brand new one's for $399. Ha! He said no one would buy it because of that. That just goes to show you how dumb people can be. Now, I just need some games! (Thank God it'll play my PS2 games until I can get some, though!)

I love the PSP. I think it is the best portable gaming machine ever made. And I loved the Game Boy. Definitely worth it.

I liked Daxter better than Jak & Daxter for the Ps2.
