Yes, absolutely. I write stories and often times I think that I've written a long epic chapter, when it actually turns out to be a few paragraphs long.

No, just no. The idea is to have your kids trust you, not fear you.
If anything, his parents were probably way too strict, in a stupid manner. His father was a minister, and from what I'm seeing, he was probably banning all sorts of content from his house. The type of guy who would burn books. The kid is 17, his entertainment shouldn't be monitored. And that's just what we know about what seems to be some really idiotic parenting. Kids are sheep and they build a ton of frustration when they can't be "normal", especially when they are not provided actual reasons to avoid certain things (let's face it: there's no reasoning behind forbidding a 17 year old to play "violent" games).

This statment really upsets me. How can policing what comes into one's own household be "idiotic parenting"? What these parents did is what all parents should do. Being CONCERNED about what their child is seeing on a daily basis. Obviously, the child is the one who is to blame. The Game is not even to blame, because apparently he never played it(at his own house, that is)! What's to say he wouldn't do the same thing if his parents did'nt let him buy Lego Batman? He's obviously a twisted individual.
Stupid 2008 and its standards in videogame making..
in all honesty there really isnt anyting inovative about the whole fast paced real time rpg system.... tri ace did this in the mid 90s on the snes with Star Ocean.
Personaly i prefer random encounters as oposed to open field battles like 12 had, still fun though. (mystwalker ftw!)

O the 90's. I miss those days even though I was barely old enough to remember them. Yeah, the fact that it's an action RPG dosen't really excite me but I'v still got faith in Square Enix. I think they'll do something different this time. I hope so at least.
I didn't care for teh hymn that much. I like my music more powerful and more intense, which is probably why my favorite song in X was the music playing during the final battle with Braska's Final Aeon. :PDJ-Lafleur
Was that the Heavy Metal song? That was un expected for me. I liked it though.
