Yeah i was thinking of the quad extreme but I dont know why they are really expensive.. i think ill go with the Intel Core 2 Quad Q965.. any idea if they sell them OC anywhere? nope but the stock cpu is still plenty powerful. umm dont suppose u know who made your motherboard. XFX, evga, ASUS, etc. thatd be nice to know cause it appears that certain core 2 quads dont work on some boards

I though that all the CPU's that have "LGA 775" work in my motherboard because my duo E8500 also has "LGA 775" isn't that right? Wow 85?! nice deal i guess.. but Many people do not recommend buying used cpu's.. how do I know if a cpu would work in my 680 sli mobo?
