Yeah, that's your connection. Unplug your router and wait 30 seconds then plug back in and wait a minute or two to regain connection. That has helped me before.

Well just a few years ago the percentage of users with internet was a lot lower than now. Games HAD to release "finished" as there was no way for them to patch the game for all users. Now the publishers know that most everyone has internet and they can issue a patch on day one. It is a crutch and allows them to create tight deadlines and ship whether it's done or not. Some publishers are better than others (Rockstar and CD Project Red games are mainly complete) at releasing finished games but as we all know, many aren't.

What is going to happen years from now when the servers are down and someone buys a disc game to play on an "old" Xbox One system? Say in 10 years. There will be no way to patch the game. Most games may be unplayable. That's like buying an original Xbox game that was patched to death and not being able to play it (as those servers are down). It's a dark path these publishers are going down and may kill the industry if they continue this reliance on pushing out these unfinished games and patch it later.

@jamievitullo: Contact the developer, but it's nothing you can do about it. Last gen is dying mate

But since it WAS released on the last gen systems then it should reason that the DLC would as well. Right? At the very least the developer would lose out on millions of potential DLC being bought from the millions of last gen users who purchased the game. Dying or not, that revenue is still potentially there for the developer with liitle effort involved in getting that DLC released on last gen systems. Most likely, like all other cross-gen games and DLC, there is a few month window between the releases as most likely they are trying to get last-gen users to upgrade. Then they release the games on the last-gen systems.

It's not DLC. It's a stand alone game.

I get that, but is still related to the New Order and uses the same engine. Those who bought the N.O. on last gen would most likely buy this (as would many that didn't buy the N.O.) They essentially have a built-in consumer base and have to do very little development-wise or marketing-wise. If you can't see that then thank god you are not the head of Bethesda.

@thomaspy:

I don't get it. You have easy access to R-rated, realistic movies like "Heat" and other movies with violence and gore like "Dark Knight" and even war movies like "Saving Private Ryan" but god forbid we let my kid play a vgame with animated vioence. Priorities in this country are f***ked up! But then again maybe your parents monitor what you watch, but I doubt it.

I cleared out 1.5 gb space but still says I don't have enough space. I rebooted, deleted app and retried but keeps saying I don't have enough space. What gives?

You could always buy some fashion games like "Imagine Fasion Life" or Barbie games like "Barbie Horse Adventures" and begin telling them you would like to begin watching Glee and you want to go see a musical. See what they say then. Maybe they will get their heads out of their *&% and wake up.

Seriously, ditch your parents!

I figured that I would post agabn to see if anyone knows. Thanks!

Hello! I know this may be vague but maybe it will remind someone of the game.

1994-1995 on PC

It was on a PC Gamer demo disc

It seemed to be a 2D side view space sim

It was cartoony, had colorful alien races. Kind of reminds me of the aliens in Star Control. The point seemed to be go from one planet/star to another trading goods and buying others. You gained allies and enemies. I don't remember there being any combat and I think it was a point and click game. It wasn't very complicated and seemed approachable and fun, but I don't think it was a kiddie game. Also the games seemed to be quicker than traditional space sims but I don't really remember as it was a demo.

I think it also had vibriant music.

Thanks!!

I'm trying to think of this game from the 90s... I probably played it about 10 or 15 years ago as a kid. You were this guy who goes underground in this facility or something. There were all these different creatures, like a turtle, and you had to try and fix something (I think). I remember there was this steam room and I believe there was also some elevator thing that you rode up. I think you were trying to get back to the surface but couldn't until you fixed a machine. I'm not sure... like I said, it's been almost 10 or 15 years since I've played.

Was it the LucasArts game "The Dig"?
