Also, sorry for the double post, but both Morrowind and Rogue Spear came out for consoles as well. How is the dumbing down of those respective franchises console related, exactly?Mediocre_man90

Rogue Spear was made and released for PC first, then ported to consoles a year later. The new R6 games after Raven Shield were made and released for consoles first with a port to PC coming later.

[QUOTE="hopesfall2own"]They are exclusive to consoles..no one cares if they are on pc too. IronBass

I gotta agree with that. In 90% of the post we discuss the PS3 vs the 360, that makes the PC games irrelevant.

Of course, if we compare any of those to the PC, or we compare the four systems, we'll count them.

But again, in a direct PS3-360 comparisson (what is what we do most of the time) it doesn't matter if they are on PC.

Rayman Raving Rabbids is on every current platform except PS3 and PSP. I guess according to you, it's OK to claim it as a 360 exclusive in your little war with the cows.

And Mario has what? A two decade head start?

dgsag

Um, you should re-read my post again if you think I was being negative towards The Sims.

[QUOTE="dgsag"][QUOTE="thrones"]

[QUOTE="DisPimpin"][QUOTE="dgsag"]Spore and Starcraft 2 are the multi-million copy sellers that will take on and outgun the console behemoths (IE: Halo 3, GTA)thrones

:lol:

Starcraft 2 has outsold Halo 3, and Spore is from the makers of the sims, which sold 50 million.

Actually, the entire series has done over 100 million. ;)

Ooo, interesting.

According to the NY Times, only Mario is bigger.

Didn't you hear? Knowing the specs of Cell or Xenon and arguing about them makes you cool! Why, it's not nerdy at all. :roll:

[QUOTE="comstrikeiscool"][QUOTE="jeezers"]

I prefer the xbox controler, kb/m is nice but doesnt feel as good, of course its easier to aim with kb/m but to easy. plus the analog stick feels better for moving than wasd, i enjoyed halo 2 and gears more on xbox than on the pc, ive played my share of pc fps, i love day of deafeat, counter strike, unreal tournament 2004, tribes, and ex.)

by the way the argument, "u use a 360 controller and ill use my kb/m and we will see who wins" is retarded, people playing competive on xbox are playing others on xbox, and people on pc are playing people on pc. we know aiming is alot easier on pc, that doesnt mean its better, the keyboard in know way feels more comfortable in my hands than a contoller.

jeezers

Mouse is not easier by any means. When you play other who are also playing mouse than it becomes whoever is more skilled. Try playing a game like painkiller and tell me how "easy" it is.

i own painkiller, very repetitive game, mass amounts of one enemy coming at you, and yes it is easier to aim on pc, thats why so many prefer it, so easy thats why alot of pc games turn ito twitch shooters, cus everyone can jump , run and shoot at the same time and still get headshots.

more skilled, really comes down to who faster in pc fpss, "twitch shooters"

if you think about it anybody with a pc can aim on a pc fps, so many people point and click daily for work and daily tasks, mouse is easier thats why people prefer it.

You must not have played online much if you think just about anyone can aim.

I'm not aware of any but if there were, I doubt it would ever get published in North America.

EDIT: Scratch that, I just remembered these.

[QUOTE="aliblabla2007"]Also, the vast majority of PC gamers don't care about Madden.newyorkgiant

I care about madden and fifa. (ok so i used to be a console gamer). But still no one is against having the option to play the games.

Ea annoy me, because they couldn't be bothered to put the decent versions of their sports games on pc. Pro evo is next gen on pc...

He has a point though. Non-americans have stated repeatedly that they don't care about Madden and they make up the overwhelming majority of PC gamers.
