Tirasus, mate, I would love to stick with DVD. What am I saying - I AM sticking with DVD. I have no intent on buying Blue ray or HD-DVD films. When I do want HD DVD films, I'll get the xbox 360 HD DVD Drive add-on and buy the disc. Until then... However, in the case of the PS3 - I mean, I've looked up blueray - I've seen the movies coming out on the format, and quite frankly, I really don't care about them. They're decent movies, mind you, but then, I'm not hyped about getting blueray versions of them. But then I want a PS3, but I have to pay for a Blueray player that I'm not ready to use; that I'm not ready to adopt. Whatever happened to choice? And yes, Fanboys - because they exist. Like it or not. THey see my comments, they think I'm having a go at the PS3 and they attack me for it. That's why I said I don't care. Or are you fanboy? Is that what this is about?

The PS3 is a wonderful system, I think. It looks great and has all the power you can imagine ... in theory. However, right now, I'll take a 360 over a ps3 any day. It's launching in the UK next week (23 March), I was preordered it (and canceled it after 1 week), checked my account and realised I was going to go broke if the amount of money required for the system was taken out of my account. My girlfriend wasn't happy about this. I had to sit down and come up with reasons why I wanted a ps3 - what was I going to get from a PS3, meaning games, functionality, internet, extras ... that sort of thing. I looked everywhere on the internet, compared what I found against what my xbox 360 had, and sadly, there's no way I can flush out £425 (and probably more) for a PS3. The PS3 doesn't even come with a component cable or HDMI cable, so that's an extra £16 or so. This is a system built by a company that's shoving Blueray into our mouths by force. I know there are fanboys who won't agree with me. I don't care. Someday, I'll buy a ps3. I prefer the controller layout. But as of now, there's no way I'm taking a single penny out of my account for it. I have the money as of now, but Sony are too lazy to convince me as a customer
