Bungie has stated that the graphics are still rough and they are going to be polished up significantly before the game releases. In order to get the best possible gameplay experience, they are using placeholder graphics for a lot of things so that they can fine tune the gameplay while development on the graphics continues. That's why a lot of stuff looks like Halo 2, but rest assured, things will start to look much better closer to release.ArchieGates
thats what i was going to say.
Use the Blu-ray Damn You!
Jeremy, when do you think we will see third-party multiplatform PS3 games that have extra Blu-ray content on them compared to Xbox 360 versions? For example: Oblivion PS3 has the "Knights of the Nine" expansion right there on the disc. Will any other developers take advantage of the large space divide?
--PaulThe Darkness allows PS3 users to watch Nosferatu in its entirety.
A handful of upcoming games are already using it. Rainbow Six: Vegas (AKA: the shooter whose release date perpetually melts) will have extra content not found in the original Xbox 360 version; 2K's The Darkness will have several full-length films that can be watched on in-game television sets, and Spider-Man 3 (special edition) will include a truckload of behind the scenes footage and an entirely unique playable character (the New Goblin).
Extra space is your friend.
