I know the 1080 sold out within minutes, so Im wondering what time exactly does the 1070 go on sale tomorrow morning? Midnight EST or at another time?

Well I checked everything out.

My card right now is running on 170W, and the 1070 requires only 150W, so im good there.

Physically, its an inch and a half longer, but I know I have space in the box itself.

Lastly, how is my processor? Should I be looking into upgrading it sometime soon or can I hold off for another year or two with this one and have an optimal gaming experience?

Apologies if this question is pointless to some of you, but I really dont know anything about computers other than the fact that I know I need to upgrade my video card and that the new GTX 1070 is the next great thing in video cards.

My question is do I need to do anything other than buy the video card, install it physically and the software, or does the rest of my hardware prevent my from using it in any way?

Here are my specs right now:

Motherboard manufactured by Gateway

Video Card: NVIDIA GeFOrce GTX 560 Ti

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @3.40GHz

Ram: 16.0 GB

System Type : 64 bit

Also, Can I upgrade my ram with this setup, and if I can what ram should I get?

Thanks

Im wondering if anyone here would recommend getting into Mechwarrior Online?

How is the game? Decent, broken, fun, ect ect?

How is the player base? Is the game doing well or is it almost dead?

Its a tough question to ask and get an objective anwser for on the MWO forums because, like all forums for a game thats existed for a few years, id imagine they are a bit toxic.

A 970 sounds good, but a 2 minute search shows that there is a billion different versions of the 970.

Can anyone recommend a specific one to me? Im seriously inept when it comes to hardware.

I know the specs haven't been announced yet, but is there anything I can do to upgrade my comp to have it run and look relativity ok?

Budget is $500.

Type: Gateway (yeah...sorry)

Video Card: NVIDIA GeFOrce GTX 560 Ti

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @3.40GHz

Ram: 16.0 GB

System Type : 64 bit

Is any more info needed?
