@CyrusDrake20: Or they should have just giving folks what they wanted and a naval combat focused Black Flag. No Assassin Creed plots or whatever just sailing and pirating.

@vigilos: I applaud your first post on this site being in defense of this game.

Wait, no one is even watching the Star Wars shows he produced, Ahsoka was the lowest rated show yet. So they give him more control?

I'm proud to say that I saw every single one of these movies. And can confirm with the exception of Jason X that all of these movies are awesome.

The only people looking forward to Season 2 are the ones completely ignorant of what is about to happen. I'm equal parts dreading and excited to see the collective shit storm that will be released.

@mogan: It's literally click bait to get a rise out of people, she contradicts herself repeatedly. I thought I was reading Kotaku trash for moment.

"Lately, Star Wars has tended entirely towards the most conservative and restorative elements of its fantasy. The Mandolorian and The Book of Boba Fett lead on the same empty mythologizing and action figure posture. Even The Last Jedi, which prompted massive, misplaced ire and received somewhat outsized praise for its subversion, is ultimately affirming of the franchise's mythic, but still consumerist, power. The movie ends with children playing out one of the film’s scenes with a handmade Luke Skywalker toy."

What does this have to do with the original statement in the opinion piece? And the end of the Last Jedi showed a force sensitive kid picking up a broom with the force showing that while the Jedi were gone there was hope for a new generation. Nothing to do with binary choices as the child is nameless blank slate that could go in any direction.

This right here is why Star Wars is a failing franchise today. Pretentious writers just making up high brow trash on the fly to shoe horn their own jaded worldview.

You got nothing right. Every conclusion wrong. Star Wars is black and white, KOTOR story was to immerse you in the game and make it close to what you saw in the movies.

I don't think the writer even likes this stuff they are writing about.
