So this is pretty random I realize, but upon recently finishing Ghost of Sparta, I noticed in the credits special thanks to Insomniac Games, Obsidian, as well as Blizzard of all game devs; I just found all of that pretty interesting and wonder what their involvement was. Great game by the way and some of the best graphics I have seen on PSP.

In all honesty, I am around 17 hours in and not really touching to much of the main questline... so far, not a glitch in sight. This is not to say that I never will, but I consider myself lucky I suppose.This is all without a patch as well.

As good as Fallout 3 was and considering this game will most likely not stray to heavily from that path, I see no way this game ends up being "bad". I personally can't wait for New Vegas to show up on my doorstep because I will be playing it for a long time to come.

In short: HELL YES !!! :) I am getting the Collector's Edition for $40 from Amazon because of promotional credit I have saved up from a few game purchases with them. Seems like a damn good deal to me, especially since I put 130 hours into Fallout 3 (Never Fast Traveled).

So I had a couple of MP cards laying around that I got as a gift a while back and upon hearing about Microsoft's 800 points back if you spend 2400 (I think ?), I decided to buy a couple of XBLA games, one being Hydrophobia. Granted it is not really the best game I have ever played, I seem to have run into some sort of issue with it; So I played through the first chapter, it autosaved and I came back the next day to play some more, however, upon trying to load up my saved game, I noticed the game would freeze up upon trying to load. I figured it was just one of those things, so I had to power down my 360 and proceeded to try and load up the save game again, and tada! same problem all over again, in addition to the game not being able to load I would notice that my wireless connection on my 360 would go dead and I'd not be able to log into Live for about 10 min. I deleted the game from my drive and re-downloaded it, hoping that would solve the issue, but to no avail. I am just wondering if anyone else out there has the same or similar issue as me. (Also using a 250 gig slim 360, not sure if that really matters or not)

[QUOTE="DJ_Magneto"]Also, keep in mind that ESPN has imposed restrictions on this deal. One of them being, that users won't be able to access this content at all if they don't have an ISP that's paid ESPN for the privilege of offering ESPN 360.
"ESPN on Xbox LIVE, providing great content from ESPN3.com and ESPN.com, is only available to Xbox LIVE Gold members. For access to ESPN3.com content, Gold members must receive their Internet connection from an affiliated broadband provider."ESPN
So not only do you need to be an Xbox Live Gold member, but also look into whether or not your ISP is on ESPN's list of participating providers. ESPN3.com Participating Providers

Yeah, I was pretty sad when I found out it was going to be based off of the ESPN360 service that they ESPN already provides because my ISP is not a part of that.

[QUOTE="XboximusPrime"]

im skeptical on the Female Gear. Seems Random and out of place to me.

Sepewrath
Why, women cant be soldiers? I would expect that there would be women soldiers, especially in an end of the world scenario. eh I'm not a big fan of non gameplay trailers, I prefer a mixture of cinematics and gameplay. But it does look like Dom went into crazy guy mode after Gears 2, I don't think he is older, he just looks disheveled. He likely stopped caring after finding his wife, I wonder if they will do the whole suicidal cliche. I still don't get why this was done on Fallon.

Not really sure if any of you have read either of the two Gears novels but there was a an older (middle aged I believe) female gear in the first novel. So I guess it really does not surprise me that they would add one (possibly others ?) to Gears 3.

[QUOTE="dukerav"][QUOTE="NintendoGamer3"]Trailer was awesome....Im glad theres a female Gear. But the graphics look totally different...NintendoGamer3
Well it is using something like Unreal Engine 3.2 or some such. Not sure if that would be its official name, but its the 2nd rendition of the engine I believe so thats what I call it.

I ment it looks like the characters were re-modeled. Baird, Cole, and Dom look really odd.

Yeah Dom definitely, he looked aged somewhat, at least to me. I am curious to see who this female Gear is though.
