Sexy_FFVII, $600 is alot for a toy. Also alot for something that has only a hand full of games. Blu- Ray is not moving like it should. Right now the HD-DVD is running away from Blu-Ray and it looks like HD-DVD will win the movie format war. When you get right to it the 360's video card can walk all over the PS3's card. So why would Any one want to pay that kind cash on something that might not work out. If HD-DVD wins the only thing you get with a PS3 is games that are longer that fit on one DVD. If Blu-Ray wins MS will come out with an add on for the 360 like they did with the HD player. So over all MS will back the 360 100%. Where Sony is not backing there game toy a 100%. Look on the net. Sony is making Ps3 in other parts of the world that are not as good as U.S. or Jappan. Thats not backing anything a 100%

No, this isn't another rampant portable Xbox 360 rumor, but the somewhat indirect linkage is indeed notable. Reportedly, AMD is planning to bring "Xbox 360 quality graphics to handheld devices" by utilizing the company's next-generation mobile graphics technologies. Although no real specifics were handed out, AMD is purportedly "working with content developers now in preparation for the arrival of phones" powered by the forthcoming set, and should be made available to handset manufacturers through "discrete media processors as well as through IP licensing agreements with semiconductor suppliers." Already released is a developers toolkit that includes support for both the OpenVG 1.0 and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics standards, and it will incorporate the same Unified Shader Architecture that's behind the scenes in your Xbox 360. Sadly, we've absolutely no idea which companies (if any) are already on board with this promising technology, but we just have to wonder if Dell won't reconsider its handheld gaming system considering the already amicable relationship with AMD.

The only thing that sucks is the fact that you gotta pay once a year for things like media player, and a few others.

November 15, 2006 Merrill Lynch: Xbox 360 To Win Next-Gen Battle Through 2011 A new report from Japanese market analysts at financial firm Merrill Lynch has predicted that Microsoft's Xbox 360 will gain the greatest worldwide market share of the next-gen consoles through 2011, with PS3 and Wii marginally trailing. According to an International Business Times report citing Yoshiyuki **** research analyst for Merrill Lynch, the Tokyo-based division for the financial giant has predicted: "The winner in the next-generation console battle is likely to be the Xbox 360, which is the leader in North America, the world’s biggest market." In addition, **** research note revealed: "We forecast respective market shares [in March 2011] of Xbox 360 [at] 39 percent, PS3 [at] 34 percent and Wii [at] 27 percent, thus overturning Sony’s domination of the market with its PS2-based share of 69 percent, and doubling Microsoft and Nintendo’s respective market shares." **** clearly believes that no one company will dominate all territories however, suggesting that Sony will still have 57% of the console market share in Japan by that date, with Nintendo's Wii at 39% and an unspecified small percentage for the Xbox 360. However, it is his prediction for the North America market that is most startling and perhaps debatable, with his suggestion Microsoft will have 50% market share by 2011, of while the PlayStation 3 has just 27% and the Nintendo Wii 23%.

I'm 28. I love video game's My kids love video games as well. I Work with computer's. If I wanted to I could buy a PS3 or 5. But, It's not worth $600. The tech in it is 2 years old. The hole 256, and it can get more ram/mem is a joke. The ps3 can't run at full speed. If it need to find more ram/mem, it will slow it down. I know tech. I live it. Day in, day out. The 360 has all 512 ram/mem right there. Now I will say that Nvidia is a kick ass gpu maker, but the ati card has more pipelines in the 360, (46) the nvidia card for the ps3 has 24? Now head to head in a PC... The Nvidia card would kill a ATI card.
