CoD 4 was definitly worth it for me, I had played 1 and 2 on Pc, as well as tried 3 on xbox, and was seriously disappointed in CoD 3, the only reason I grabbed 4 was because my CoD 2 clan was shifting, but I ended up loving it. definitly the best in the series, except maybe CoD 1 I still play that... occasionally. -=GG=- servers for TDM are up and going, join up!

I would recommend CoD4 for you, the multiplayer is something you can jump right into, you can sit in back with a sniper rifle and pick off some fools, or jump right in and be the spearhead into enemy territory, it's quite fun.

Be sure you grab NWN, NWN2 if you liked NWN, and the fallout series, Dungeon siege 2 was good, if you like starwars pick up Knights of the Old Republic, and if you are craving an MMO, Guild Wars is a solid choice (no penalties for death there only a small xp loss, nothing to worry about) but take a look around, there are many great, solid, RPGs out there, pick some up.

Before you uninstall the game and go back to kotor, get yourself to one of the outlying planets, they tend to have a lot more going for them than peragus and telos, it's really no wonder so many people didn't want to play the game, the beginning was really quite awful, but the game picks up from there, although it is possible to 'finish' the game without even filling up your characters sheet - make sure you visit each planet multiple times man! have fun.

Do yourself a favor and grab Fallout and Fallout 2; they are quite possibly my two favorite games. Top down RPGs set in a post-apocalyptic nightmare, they are great fun, and sometimes quite hilarious. No matter the specs of your rig, it should be every gamer's responsibility to pick up these classics.

Truly and honestly, you can solo around 70% of the PvE game. You don't have to team up to do most of the missions, and if you look on guildwiki.org, you can find instructions and hints on how to achieve this. To do some of the advanced missions, and the hard mode content, you really have to have a good, solid team of people who have worked together in the past, but the people you meet doing the advanced missions will most likely invite you to their guild, or at least help you out if you don't screw things up for them. I would recommend getting the game, and working on it, make sure you pick up Nightfalls though, it's most likely the best place to solo: and you get right into the game, no long intros or anything, and move on from there. Good luck mate!

~Edit: yeah, I forgot to tell you about the heroes and henchmen, the AI on them is fairly decent, and you can have up to 3 heroes in your group, you can control their skills and equipment and all that jazz. It's really not that difficult to do things solo.

Ok, first, let us know what the game is, then we might be able to help you out. Secondly, take your time to phrase your remarks, that and work on your syntax mate, it's hard to read when things are stucktogether.

When the thing first came out, I was one of the first of my crew of gamers to grab it off the gamestop shelf. I was excited because of the great adverts and all of the news and review hype that was happening; I thought it was going to be the next great. I was wrong in the fact that it was going to be the next classic ( a la SS2 or Half-Life) but it was a solid game for what it was designed to be: a great graphical showcase, and an interesting twist on a typically 'flooded' genre. (haha, I kill myself) Some of the things that I did like was the 1940-50's era super-tech, as well as the great soundtrack, nothing beats killing the undeaded/living evil dudes like doing it listening to Lionel Hampton or something... haha, reminds me of Fallout series games, good stuff. All in all, I guess I liked the game, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing it unless you had played it previously and liked it.

anyone wondering where all the fanbois are on this thread? no? it's cause they are having nightmares about the possibility, WAY TO GO! seriously, well done.

you know, it would be great if they went down, I would love to see the gaming community grow exponentially outside of WoW, cause all the kiddies wouldn't play real games, and all the people who have something to give to the gaming comm would be out of crack.
