The multiplayer server list in Minecraft: Java Edition.
The featured servers list in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
Minecraft includes an in-game server list for multiplayer in which users can save the servers they visit.
In Java Edition, there is no pre-populated server list directly available from in-game itself or on the official Minecraft website, but the stand-alone Java Edition launcher does support adding servers in the Multiplayer section. It allows players to check if a server has been online, how many slots it holds, and how fast the player's connection (ping) to the server is. The connection speed to the server is displayed by hovering over it in Minecraft's servers list.
The warning message regarding online play being not rated is displayed when the player first loads up the multiplayer list. If the player wishes not to see this again, there is a 'Do not show this screen again' checkbox.
The server list in Bedrock Edition has a section that lists featured servers that have partnered up with Mojang Studios. In the console versions, these are the only servers available, as there is no option to add unofficial servers.
Finding unofficial servers[]
Server owners can post information about their servers on several websites. Two sites were notable (both defunct), namely the official Classic server server list maintained and the public Minecraft Forums servers list. Minecraft Forums closed down their public server lists on June 27th 2018. i'm only good at one thing This means that you can't find Minecraft Servers available for Java edition. There are many popular server lists that mirror how Minecraft Forums system worked when it was live.
Organizing servers[]
Java Edition shows the servers in a fixed order. However, this order can be changed. To change the order in which servers appear on the list the player can hover above the server and use the arrows. Alternativly, the player can hold Shift and use arrow keys.
