ok so i can play games like bioshock, lost planet and oblivion with max settings with no problems at all with my cpu idling at about 45 degrees celsius. but the call of duty 4 and unreal tournament 3 demos have both made my cpu get real hot fast. after playing for a couple of min my cpu will go towards 60 degrees celsius and once even crashed my pc and im using optimal settings for these games. should i be worried and deal with this or maybe its jus because its a demo??? i have a amd x2 6000+ with stock heat sink and fan with a radeon x1950 pro and 2gb of ram running on xp pro and 630 watt psu. If i should deal with this wat would be the easiest and cheapest way of cooling down my cpu?

ok so i just installed a saphire x1950 pro 512mb video card upgrading from onboard video and when i play some older games such as battle for middle earth II it works fine and i see a huge difference but when i try to play some newer games like graw or marvel ultimate alliance all i see is a blank screen but i can hear the sounds working. any ideas of why this is happening???

[QUOTE="djseuung"]im looking at the radeon 2900xt cardsHiryuu_

The 2900XTs don't come in GDDR2 or 256MB flavor. Only 512MB GDDR3 and 1GB GDDR4, with the 512MB version being the far better value.

Maybe you meant the HD2600XTs? If so, get a 256MB version.

yeah. thats what im talking about the 2600xt ones. sorry for the mistake. also how big is the upgrade from 2600xt to 2900xt?
