Well without the HDMI port it doesn't support it too well, and some of the older games dont support it.... so i guess thats what they mean.

I would go with the regular

With the elite, thats 1.66 games you can buy with the left overs.

With the regular, thats around 4 games you can get.

Unless you have an very high quality tv (1080p) I would go with the regular version.

Personally I wish it had split screen, but am definately glad it had the deity level of play.
